How to Win Her Back With Words
By Michael Webb
“I wrote a letter to my love and on the way I dropped it…”
Here is a question that guys have all the time. Is writing letters to get your ex-girlfriend or wife back really a good idea? It is indeed, provided you don’t “drop the ball” in your letter writing! Listen carefully gents! There are many people that write love letters, text messages, e-mails and just about every other form of text-based correspondence that you can think of on a daily basis. Many of these people will resort to that form of communication when trying to get an ex-lover to fall in love with them again but does it work?
There is something to be said about writing a love letter, particularly one written in your own hand. These days, many people tend to break up over the phone, over an instant messaging program, through mail or even by text-message and as a result, there is no closure so people tend to hold grudges.
And they say that the most honest way to break up with someone is in person, so surely this should work the opposite way, that is of course, if you really you want to get your ex back?
Absolutely, the trick in using your words to get her back will all depend on what you say, how you say it and when you send your letter as well as how you offer it to her. Some of the simple guidelines you can follow range from using neutral, soft colored stationery, a flair pen that compliments your own hand writing, and the time and place you choose to sit down and write it.
Keep in mind that this is probably going to be a keepsake of hers, so ensure that you always write from your heart, and address her in the right manner, i.e. “to my darling Jacqueline”. Try calling her “the love of your life” and start the letter off by telling her why you are writing the love letter to her.
Take the time to remind her of the reasons you fell in love with her, how much she changed your life for the better and how you cannot imagine living without her. As you write your romantic love letter, let her know how much she really means to you, and be thorough and sincere. Recall some of the special memories you shared, and all the qualities of hers that you truly adore.
You must make a strong effort to make a positive impression on her, and you need to sound sincere and genuine at the same time. If you are not sure of how or what to write, do some web research or visit a library.
There are many ways to find inspiration. If she has a favorite author or poet, find a quote of his/hers that suits the message you are trying to convey, or better yet, read this article and see how you can write an unforgettable romantic love letter.
When closing up on completion of your letter make sure it is neatly folded and put it into a matching envelope with her address on the outside if you are intending to mail it or hand deliver it to her doorstop by slipping it under her door.
The last step is to be patient and wait. If you have heeded my advice above, I can assure you, you will get the response you desire, so just make sure you are ready for the reunion.
